You can always jump right into it, but please notice a lot of RS gold things is behind their membership (they raised the cost of over the years). Though so you understand what you're getting into, it can be a fun game, I would recommend watching videos on it. It's a click and point MMO (meaning that you mainly use your mouse to do whatever except to look around), the battle is automatically initiated once you reach something or in case you have Auto-retaliate on and something strikes you. It is fun if you are into it and you can eventually start just buying membership yourself with in game money (it may take a long time on a brand new account if you have no idea what you are doing) and there is several videos from various OSRS Content Creators telling you how you can do it but a good deal of them are based on chance and attempting to play the Grand Exchange (that is their version of an Auction House).

Runescape itself has been around for many years. I would only recommend OSRS as RS3 is a massive money grab (not even joking as folks were spending $3000+ a month on it to receive the best gear in game from a type of mini game that prices"spins" which you get free once each day iirc or you'll be able to pay to them). OSRS has no courses but there are"assembles" since EACH specific combat form has their own levels. There is also no limitation on what you can do"profession" wise because it is available (except specific things need membership to par or need membership to make things that are more rewarding ).

So you might simply equip an axe you are at level to wield and use to block trees, but certain levels have to equip certain tiers of items. Bronze and Iron can be found at the beginning, Steel demands level 5 strike to wield, or utilize for mining or woodcutting. Black requires level 10, Mithril degree 20, Adamant level 30, Rune degree 40 and Dragon degree 60 (that is only the tip of the iceberg). I play OSRS for personal reasons but if you want to attempt it, it's free to play honestly takes a few minutes to just download Runelite and set it up to how you want.

Frankly I would recommend jumping right in to OSRS with as little prior knowledge/experience as you can. Just like a lot of OSRS vets, I finally created an Ironman accounts when my main account got stale (still not sure I would suggest an Ironman as a first character, though), also going to that blind was really quite enjoyable. There are loads of guides out there for normal and ironman accounts, and you'll certainly progress a whole lot faster if you follow along with, but only figuring out the best methods to get shit done in your own is officially fantastic. Especially in an Ironman, since you have to actually participate with more of RuneScape as opposed to just buying cheap shit from bots and farming the exact same high level bosses forever.

Is there a OSRS

After almost a year of attempting oldschool gambling, my players are insisting that we return to 5e. I am devastated. Their complaints are lethality and the quantity of involvement required for oldschool play. They do not wish to draw a map, they don't like needing to carefully organize encounters and avoid combat, and they refuse to track encumbrance, water, food, and torches. And they definitely, extremely do not want to have their own characters die. It appears I have a group of players. They do not want to shoot RuneScape seriously. They are pretty clear that they want to twist around, play, and have their personalities do cool things and emerge spectacularly victorious. I do it. That is a legit way to perform and I'm not trying to buy RuneScape gold rag on them or let them know they are having badwrongfun.
